How GreenTarget handles personal information and confidential accounting records.

GreenTarget Ecommerce Accounting | Effective date: October 12, 2026

1. Who We Are

GreenTarget Ecommerce Accounting (“GreenTarget”, “we”, “us”) provides eCommerce bookkeeping, accounting cleanup, reconciliations, financial reporting, and fractional controller services. Our website is https://greentargetaccounting.com. This notice covers personal information collected through our website, inquiries, and professional engagements. Client agreements may provide additional confidentiality and data-processing terms.

2. Information We Collect

Contact and inquiry data: Names, email addresses, telephone numbers if supplied, business names, websites, messages, and details voluntarily provided about accounting needs.

Client engagement data: Authorized financial statements, general ledgers, bank and card statements, sales and settlement records, inventory and cost information, invoices, bills, and supporting documentation. These records may contain personal information about clients, employees, buyers, suppliers, or others.

Website data: Technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, visited pages, and cookie-related information may be processed by our hosting provider and enabled website services.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information when you contact us, submit website forms, exchange emails or documents with us, or authorize access to accounting software, marketplaces, payment services, and other systems. Website and hosting tools may collect certain technical information automatically.

4. Why We Use Information

We process information to respond to inquiries, evaluate and propose services, perform authorized accounting work, communicate about engagements, issue invoices and maintain our own business records, operate and secure our website, and meet applicable legal or contractual duties. We do not use identifiable client financial records as public portfolio materials without authorization.

5. Legal Basis and Client Roles

Where applicable law requires a processing basis, it may include steps toward a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests where permitted, or consent where required. Depending on the engagement and data involved, GreenTarget may process personal information on a client’s behalf under the client’s instructions. Respective responsibilities should be stated in the engagement agreement or a separate data-processing arrangement when needed.

6. Systems and Service Providers

Authorized accounting work may involve QuickBooks Online, A2X, Link My Books, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, financial institutions, payment processors, and other systems selected for a particular engagement. We may also use vendors supporting website hosting, communications, document storage, and business operations. Access and disclosure should be limited to information necessary for the work. Each independent platform has its own terms and privacy practices.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

Information may be shared with authorized client representatives, relevant service providers, or professional advisers where needed for the engagement, and with authorities where legally required. People assisting with authorized service delivery should be subject to appropriate access restrictions and confidentiality arrangements. GreenTarget does not sell client accounting records or personal information to advertisers. We do not disclose identifiable client financial results publicly without authorization.

8. How We Protect Information

We seek to apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of accounting and financial information, including limiting access to authorized users, using available account security controls, and restricting unnecessary data collection or access. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed fully secure.

9. International Processing

GreenTarget operates from the Philippines and serves clients who may be located abroad. Client information may be accessed from the Philippines and processed through authorized third-party systems in other jurisdictions. Where applicable, cross-border arrangements are governed by relevant contracts and data-protection requirements.

10. Retention and Deletion

Client financial and working records are generally returned or securely deleted when they are no longer needed for the agreed engagement. Where a legitimate and permitted purpose requires longer retention, certain records may be kept for up to two years after the engagement ends, unless a different period is agreed or applicable law or platform rules require otherwise. Two years is not a mandatory holding period for every client file.

Clients may request deletion at any time, including immediately after engagement completion. We assess authorized requests and delete eligible information as promptly as reasonably practicable. We may retain limited information when legally required or otherwise lawfully justified; where appropriate, we explain that exception.

GreenTarget’s own books of accounts, invoices, tax records and supporting documents are maintained for the periods required by Philippine law, generally at least five years under applicable BIR rules, and longer where an exception applies. This obligation does not automatically extend to every working copy of a foreign client’s records.

Marketplace data, including Amazon data, is subject to any shorter or more specific retention and deletion requirements that apply to the access method and data type. Backups and third-party systems may have different deletion processes, subject to any stricter applicable requirement.

Deletion requests: jay@greentargetaccounting.com. We may reasonably verify the requester’s identity and authority before acting.

11. Cookies and Analytics

The website may use essential cookies and additional technologies for analytics, security, forms, or other features. Cookie settings and applicable consent choices should be provided through the website’s consent-management controls. The actual cookies and enabled services are subject to verification before this policy is published.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the law applicable to your information, you may have rights to information, access, correction, objection, deletion or blocking, withdrawal of consent where relevant, and other applicable protections. Rights are subject to legal conditions and limitations. Send privacy requests to jay@greentargetaccounting.com; we may ask for reasonable identity or authorization verification.

13. Client Confidentiality

We treat nonpublic client accounting information as confidential and use it for authorized professional purposes, subject to agreed engagement terms and lawful disclosures. We do not publish identifiable client records, financial statements or case-study results without appropriate authorization.

14. External Websites

Links to external services or websites are governed by those providers’ respective privacy notices. We do not control their independent practices.

15. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through this website. Contact us if you believe such information has been submitted.

16. Updates to This Policy
